True Blood's Mehcad Brooks hearts the gays

First of all, this picture.

OK. Not that you needed another reason to love Mehcad Brooks, but here's one anyways. The True Blood star (who, spoiler alert, isn't coming back next season thanks to Jason Stackhouse) recently told Honey that he won't be getting married until gays can too:

...I want a wife, I want kids. The whole thing. But I’m also not even concerned with marrying somebody until it’s legal for everybody to get married. And what I mean by that is the whole Prop 8 thing.

I find it really offensive. I just find it really problematic when you start throwing people’s rights away. Until we get our gay brothers and sisters back into a realm of consciousness that everyone else is in, it’s just not right.

No one should be surprised that someone so insanely beautiful also happens to have a brain, but it's refreshing nonetheless. And, it's an excuse to post another picture:

True Blood + Depeche Mode = Brilliant

Ahhh! I'm dying. The folks over at HBO have put together an extended promotional clip of True Blood, set to a track from Depeche Mode's latest album, Sounds Of The Universe. The song, "Corrupt," couldn't be better suited for all the hot madness going on in Bon Temps (thanks, Maryann!).

Watch how it all ends during the season finale, which airs this Sunday at 9 p.m. As if you didn't already know that.

Hot Flesh Sunday: Alex Skarsgard

Trevor O’Shana is the first American photographer who has expertly captured the mysterious allure of Swedish export, Alex Skarsgard (aka True Blood’s Eric). Just look at the intense gaze, alert posture and perfect pecs. He is, well…to die for.

The HBO vampire's sexy stare and 6’4” frame persuaded us to leave team Bill for Alex's team Eric a few episodes back. After seeing how hot Eric looked while chained down in last week's episode, we know it was the right choice. But, will we continue our loyalty now that Eric's enigmatic maker, Godric, has come to town?

Maybe Alex can think of an appropriate lobbying tactic to keep us from switching teams again.

Bill and Sookie are getting married

People is reporting that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are getting married, in real life! Paquin's 27 and Moyer, who has two kids from two previous relationships, is 39. The True Blood duo met on the set, and we enjoy their work, so good luck to them.

That being said, we'd rather watch an orgy with these three over Bill and Sookie's boring wedding any day. Maryann, is this something you can arrange for us?

Ryan Kwanten: Even dreamier with an accent?

This clip with True Blood's Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse) is from last year, but if you haven't seen it or didn't know he was Australian, you're in for a treat. Which do you prefer, Jason from Louisiana or Ryan from Down Under?

On another note, there are only five episodes left this season, and we just hope there is still time for one more Jason Stackhouse nude scene. In the meantime, here's a collage that some filthy pervert on the Internet made.
