Singer Kevin Thornton gets unzipped—again!

Sexy singer-songwriter Kevin Thornton isn't hot just because he's got piercing eyes, hot body ink, and a talent for writing great songs and performing cool one-man shows. We also like him because he did a pretty raunchy interview with us in the March issue of Unzipped magazine—and because he wrote a theme song for Unzipped.net. But what really makes Kevin such a stud in our eyes is his "absolutely" attitude. This was a guy who, when we asked if he might be interested in doing an interview with us, responded "Yes! And I'll get as nasty as you want!" He even went out and recruited a photographer friend to take some racy photos exclusively for us!

Saturday Morning Music: The "Unzipped.net Theme Song" by Kevin Thornton

We love us some Kevin Thornton. We profiled the sexy singer—frontman of the New Wave/pop group Waves On Waves—in the March issue of Unzipped, and he proved himself to be a bit of a naughty boy by talking about his love of porn ("I love all the reality sites where they get straight guys to do things they normally wouldn't"), hooking up with fans after shows ("I'm not a prude, just more of an old-fashioned slut") and what it takes to get him unzipped ("The moment I realize the kissing is good, the pants will fly off"). Saturday Morning Music: Kevin Thornton & Waves On Waves

This week's Saturday morning singer is Kevin Thornton, the lead singer of the Nashville-based band Waves On Waves. Not only is he cute and inked and an über-talented performance artist who keeps a hilariously satirical vlog, but he's also a major porn fan who happens to give great ... um, chat. We know this because we interview him in the March 2009 issue of Unzipped magazine, which is on stands right now!

In the video for Waves On Waves' new single, the lush, yearning "We Want To," Kevin and his bandmates (including super-cute Enoch, who looks like he could totally be a Falcon porn star himself) serve up a healthy dose of their opulent, '80s'-inspired, Tears for Fears-esque art-pop, hamming for the camera the whole time. It's almost like a refreshing blast from the past—except that it's brand new.
