Glee stud Mark Salling takes us behind the scenes

No thanks to a little something called the World Series, we've been waiting what seems like forever for a new Glee and--more importantly--more Mark Salling. Seriously, a lot can happen in a few weeks: I mean, new TV hotties come along practically every day.

Thankfully, last night's episode did not disappoint. Alas, it wasn't very Puck-centirc, but it did have a lovely rendition of "Defying Gravity" from Wicked performed by Lea Michele and Chris Colfer.

Luckily for us, Mr. Salling has kept busy doing lots of press for us to enjoy, performing the national anthem with his castmates, and putting together a behind-the-scenes video tribute to his fellow Gleesters (which, btw, opens with him shirtless):

No Glee or Mark Salling last night? What the Puck?!

I was so amped up last night to spend another hour with humpy Mark Salling, who plays Puck on Glee. But lo and behold, Fox was showing an hour of Simpsons Halloween episodes. Now, I love me some Simpsons, but two weeks without Mark? It's downright uncivilized. So, here are some pics to hold us all over until next week. And, since ratings sweeps begin in November, we are almost guaranteed some gratuitous shirtless scenes, like the shots after the jump.

Is Glee's Puck part of a hottie trinity?

While watching Glee last night, Mark Salling, the actor who plays self-proclaimed "badass" Puck, reminded me a lot of bad boy singer, Robbie Williams. This morning, I saw that some of my gay boy friends on Facebook had posted similar observations. One even took it to the next level and brought Jackass star Johnny Knoxville into the mix. Makes sense: bad boy + jackass = badass.

Glee's Cory Monteith butt naked in campy horror flick

Since the '70s, starring in a low-budget horror film has sort of become the silver screen equivalent to pledge week, for budding young movie actors. Brooke Shields made her film debut in Alice, Sweet Alice, Johnny Depp made his in the original A Nightmare on Elm Street and Jamie Lee Curtis did the same in Halloween. Glee cutie Cory Monteith is no exception. He got neked for his film debut in 2006's campy Bloody Mary. Have a gander at the glutes.
