Sean Carnage, Online Editor —Two weekends ago I put together a new Ikea bed frame. This weekend I am going to have some naughty fun at Palm Springs Pride (looking forward especially to the BUTT screenings). So I was thinking, what if you put Ikea and naughty fun together? Voila! Something just like the new publications from Bookkake, who encourage you to "flat pack on your back."

Sez Bookakke: "CRØSS is a wall-mounted and simplified version of the classic Crux decussata, or St. Andrew’s Cross, one of the most common items to be found in the professional dungeon, and now affordable for the amateur. STÖCK is a more weighty appliance for the restraint of the willing partner, complete with secure base to prevent toppling injuries, while SHPANK is, well, you get the idea…" Fun!

—This weekend I'm all about Designated Dialer
and DrunkDial
, two apps that prevent you from drunk dialing on your iPhone. Designated Dialer locks up specific contacts you don't want to call while tipsy; DrunkDial makes you answer some basic math questions in a certain amount of time before it unlocks your contacts. Super smart if you've ever made one of those regretful calls.
Zach Sire, Associate Editor—I'm spending the weekend in Palm Springs, where I'll be doing this, and probably this, but if I get home in time on Sunday, I am definitely going to see Precious. Between Monique, an unrecognizable Mariah Carey (who, as Sandra Bernhard said, has "shed her butterfly wings"), and what is looking like an Oscar-nominated performance from newcomer Gabourey Sidibe, one of these ladies better make me cry! The trailer:
Winston Gieseke, Managing Editor—The hubby and I are looking forward to a little gardening fun after a trip to our neighborhood Home Depot. (Seriously, is Homo Depot the gayest place ever or what? There's never a shortage of hotties cruising the aisles for hoses, tools, and the plentiful screw options. If they had a bar and some Donna Summer they could start charging a cover.) After that, I'll probably keep the gayness flowing by watching my new fabulicious Just Say Julie DVD.
Michael Matson, Photo Editor—My friend John Munt and I are traveling to our hometown to attend a memorial service. John is a musician, so
he will be sharing some of his music during the drive. If it turns out that I have any down time, my plan is to read some more of the short stories
in Dennis Cooper’s new book, Ugly Man.
