Former porn star agent David Forest, who's no stranger to getting himself in trouble with the law, could be looking at more hard time. And not the good kind.

Last year, a California court ordered that Forest never manage porn stars' film or live appearances again but, apparently, David Forest was all, "fuck it," and sent out a press release two days ago stating he was going to start doing just that.

Last night, Forest was at Micky's here in West Hollywood for Cocktails With The Stars, where he had booked Simon Dexter to appear, and if you think there is already enough drama at gay bars in WeHo, treat yourself to this report that an anonymous tipster sent me:

Sources ON THE SCENE have verified that David Forest was served with papers, we don't know who the other party is, but we have our suspicions...DF told several insiders last night at Micky's that yes, he in fact was served with legal papers.

In addition to this e-mail, two other sources have confirmed the news. No word on how hot Simon Dexter looked.

The article linked above, "sent out a press release," has been removed due to mysterious reasons (is David Forest a wizard?), but here's an excerpt from the cached version of the removed Sword post:

The troubled male madam sent everyone a press release yesterday that begins, "(Van Nuys, Calif.) – After 1 ½ years on hiatus... DAVID FOREST is returning to the day-to-day talent management business." Thing is, the word "hiatus" would be more accurately described as "court-mandated exile," and the Van Nuys, CA where David wrote the press release is the same Van Nuys, CA whose Superior Court ordered David Forest to stop working in the adult entertainment world.

He's allowed to manage escorts -- as he has with Mark Dalton and Simon Dexter -- but he's not allowed to represent talent for live bookings or film appearances. So his press release, which states his intention "to handle film, print, internet and live bookings for a limited number of TOP stars," and which announces upcoming live appearances by Simon Dexter and Zeb Atlas, is in direct violation of a court order.

Also, here's a report from back in the day when David Forest first returned from rehab and promised, as the court order mandated, that he would not be booking models for film:

“I’m done with setting up movie jobs,” [Forest] told [Gay Porn Times]. “That part of my life is over. I am just focusing on my ‘Forest Meetings’ program and staying sober.”

By the way…the “papers served” have to do with an ongoing battle I have with an inheritance matter.  Nothing to do with what you’re hinting at.

UPDATE 2:

David Forest has now sent out more e-mails to various members of the press, but now, he's admitting that he was in fact served legal documents last night for attempting to get back into the talent business. So, his repeated insistence that the papers he received at Micky's were regarding a private family "inheritance matter" (seen above and told to me in a subsequent telephone interview) was a clear lie. Bizarre.

Here's the e-mail he sent to Unzipped, Gay Porn Times, and others:

THEN, last night, as I was entering Micky’s (with my client, Simon Dexter) … I was served with the same document I got a year ago … this time, however, it said JUDGMENT.  Very confidentially, it doesn’t require that I pay them anything … just to abide by the non-compete clause.

The men came out for Simon and celebrated him.. it was standing room only, unfortunately it turned ugly when he admitted that he was STRAIGHT to the crowd. The next question Scotty B took from the audience was 'When are you leaving?'

The audience didn't take well for him admitting that he's only into girls. Scotty B asked him if he was a hooker and he said no, he didn't do private meetings! Really now, isn't he associated with David Forrest?

Simon looked great and the fact that he showed up in a tie because he didn't know what to expect and wanted to dress to impress was absolute "class" to me. Yes, he admitted that he is "more into girls" he didn't say, "only into girls"...when asked by Scotty which he preferred. No gay man is turned on when their visual desire in front of them says he is more into girls, but seriously... the straight4pay guys are getting more work than us openly gay models these days! Either way, str8 or gay... i'm a fan and supporter!

I don't know David Forest well enough to comment.

Howard didn’t breach the agreement. And you can also cite to the judgment. That’s public record and precludes him from competing.

It's pretty shady for Forest to say he can nullify the contract unilaterally because Howard breached the confidentiality clause when it seems clear that Forest breached the "non-compete" clause FIRST.

How come Forest doesn't take responsibility and admit wronging the contract first?

It's HIS bad and he shouldn't get to dishonor his commitments just because Fabscout also dishonored them later.

This is very shady. If Forest wants back into the business after having Fabscout buy him out, he should give back whatever money etc. that Fabscout gave him and Fabscout should let him.
