"I lay awake at night and stare at [Aiden's] side of the bed which I never
want to lay on in case he decides to come home. I wake up feeling sick
every day and have to busy myself with pointless tasks so I don't think
of him. It has only been 15 days but this is not like me at all. I'm a 'two tears in a bucket' kind of guy. Usually they leave, I sigh, heavily
tear up, wipe my eyes, then am sucking off some hot guy that night.
With Aiden...I haven't been able to do that."

No, seriously, despite there very (very) unconventional relationship, I have felt just like he has after a relationship. It is EXTREMELY painful in the beginning.
Even when your mind is on something else, that strage aching sensation is still present. It's like a death and in a sense, it is. Their relationship despite the countless interludes with others, may have had some special elements no one else will ever know about but them.

Bomb the internet. Raze it to the ground. Salt the earth so it can never grow again.

My money is on the author actually being this Aiden Ash person. I mean, seriously. Who in hell pines away after someone by staring at their side of the bed, afraid to lay on it. WTFE.
