Adam Lambert's November Details magazine cover has not yet hit stands, but it is already generating a bigger buzz than his snake on the crotch Rolling Stone cover. The reason: inside the mag, he gets down and dirty with a naked model. A naked female model.

This seems like an odd move for the out singer. But, it is possible that Lambert's goal is to subvert our long standing fascination with straight celebrities taking queer turns in movies, videos and photo shoots. Look how much press Madonna got just for kissing Britney. As a gay man romping with a naked female, Lambert is turning "gay for hype" upside down, or even, inside out.

This also could be a move to appease tween fangirls, who dream that they might be able to "turn" him. Still, Lambert is clearly not trying to "straighten" up his act, as recent photos of him making out with boyfriend Drake LaBry (below) affirm. But, whatever he's up to, it seems certain that he is sowing the seeds for a career as provocative as Ms. Ciccone's. Let's just hope the music is as good.

My guess is the chick is there for the straight guys. Most of Adam's fangirls, tween or *ahem* not tween, would loooove to see him in a spread with a gorgeous man. But what mainstream magazine would publish that?

Honey, Mr Adam will do anything for attention!! Now what would be interesting would be a Below The Belt item, on a spread of Adam and his boyfriend, getting it on: "Licked, Sucked and Fucked!" Now that would be very interesting and somewhat entertaining!! He! He! He! He! NJMJr!
