Oh my god, you guys...Sarah Palin's book is coming out sooner than originally planned! It was supposed to be out next spring, but the publishers have decided to release it on November 17th, just in time for the holidays. The Sarah Palin memoir is said to be 400 pages long, and Sarah Palin is said to be the author!
"Governor Palin has been unbelievably conscientious and hands-on at every stage, investing herself deeply and passionately in this project. It's her words, her life, and it's all there in full and fascinating detail," said Jonathan Burnham, the Harper's publisher. Then, Jonathan Burnham killed himself.
But does this piece of literature have a title? Yes, it does:
The book now has a title, one fitting for a public figure known for the unexpected – "Going Rogue: An American Life." Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins, has commissioned a huge first printing of 1.5 million copies.
You'll remember that almost one year ago, Sarah Palin imploded on the campaign trail by going off-script and ignoring McCain advisers, and someone from the McCain camp labeled her as "going rogue." So, really, there is no better title for a memoir about Sarah Palin than the two words used to describe this Republican albatross, this vapid grifter Sarah Palin, when she was winking her way through an election that she thought would advance her political career. Going Rogue. It will sell millions.
