And we have a winner!
Actually, make that FOUR winners.
Brent has reviewed the Brent Corrigan Haiku finalists and, after much deliberation, he's picked his favorite four. Remember, three of you win an autographed copy of Brent's historic Freshmen issue, and one of you wins an autographed copy of Brent's new DVD, Brent Corrigan's Big Easy.
Can we just get to the goddamned results already!? Why yes, we can.
See if you're a winner, after the jump.
To give you a little idea of what tickled Brent's fancy, here's what he told us before announcing his picks:
"I don't really like the overtly sexual ones. And I didn't like any referring to Zac Efron. It's a Brent Corrigan Haiku, not a "Let's compare Brent Corrigan to Zac Efron" Haiku."
Meow! Guess you now know how not to get into Brent's good poetic graces.
Alright, here are the three haiku writers who will be winning magazines:
Winner: "Larry_26969"
Are we his lover?
Allusions or delusions?
In blog, Brent says so.
Winner: "Lana"
This bottom is top
No need for penetration
To show who's the star
Winner: "Ross Jackson"
Brent flicks his hair and
the Gods of porn smile on their
perfect creation
And the person who submitted Brent's favorite haiku is...
"Andrew Johnson"
Think, it is lucky,
Brent continues to persist,
Wankers are happy!
Congratulations, Andrew, you're getting a DVD. Happy wanking, indeed!
To all four winners: Keep an eye on your e-mail. If you didn't include your address with your entry, we'll be contacting you next week before we ship out the prizes.
And congratulations to everyone who entered. It was not easy to narrow down these haikus. Brent loved hearing from all of you, and was genuinely touched by all of your thoughtful words. (Except for those of you who compared him to Zac Efron, of course. How dare you!)

Nicely done contest.
Yes, Brent does have his standards. DeWayne and Bill and I had a lot of comments rejected in the early days, still happens too. :)
Larry, Lana, Ross and Andrew did a good job.
I will let DeWaynes readers kinow to come here.

Of course I feel honoured; after the last little rant Brent and I had about me honestly saying that I want to see him as a bottom, I see a certain irony in the fact that this of all haikus has been chosen. I just realize that brent has deleted my comment and his own slightly annoyed reaction to it from the comments to the palm springs entry while transferring the blog to the new site. Well, hm, he can do as he please. But this will not make the topic go away. I will deal with it on my own blog.
Maybe the result would have been different if the contest would not have been anonymous. I think it was a decision due to form rather than content. Also I played unfair by submitted 4 proposals (taking unfair advantage of my writing profession). Frankly, I prefer the one I sent in by mail, but I guess this one was just too odd:
If he could divide
And be two, the backside could
Make love to the front

If I may be so stupid or bold as to guess, I would suspect Brent liked the multiple meanings of your 'star.' reference. Brent is highly influenced by Jody Wheelers writing. Jody frequently uses double meanings in his concepts. It helps in short stories.
Just my wild ass guess though.

Albert, I think your guess is very true, and I was aware of that double meaning when writing it. In fact I should have written "where the star is" to emphasize this even more. But that would have broken the 5 syllable rule.
Of Jody wheeler I thought when i wrote that spooky haiku about a frontal and a, what's the right word for that, backside brent dividing into two entities to make love to each other.
I really liked the haiku about the majestic mountains. Its sad that it proved to be too blatantly physical for the little star.
