So Brent, what do you like to see when you're watching porn? What gets you off?
As a viewer, you gotta know that the guys are into it. It’s only work if you’d rather be doing someone else. When a bottom is working and he’s getting pounded, you wanna see them erect. If that’s not happening, then I’ll turn it off. There’s nothing worse than seeing that limp dick hangin' there. I gotta know that they’re doing it cause they wanna do it. The other thing I like seeing is odd pairs. I don’t know where this notion came from that viewers only want to see twinks with twinks and muscle studs with muscle studs, because that’s not how we do it in the real world.

I have to ask: What do you do to keep your hair so perfect?
It's not perfect! It does get a little tousled. I use Crew pomade, but not very much of it. When you wash your hair and go on set it tends to fly everywhere. But I guess I have been blessed with good hair.

So if there were a movie based on your life, who would play you?
A no name actor. Give the kid a chance! And I’d hope that he would be gay.

What kind of music do you like? Who are you listening to now?
I’m an alternative/indie/classic rock person. Anything from Niko Case and The Pretenders to Louis XIV and Fleetwood Mac…I love Fleetwood Mac. Also, The Eagles and Neil Young. I love acoustic sounds. Jason Mraz has extreme vocal talent and his acoustic stuff is fantastic.

You've got a boyfriend. So do you ever think about getting married? What do you think about California's Prop. 8?
I worked in the trenches on Prop. 8. I worked for the Human Rights Campaign doing phone banking and collecting signatures. After we lost in November, it was pretty clear why. Our campaign wasn’t clear enough and we didn’t answer any of the lies.

I remember when we were protesting in San Diego and one of the leaders was telling us to take the word “Hate” off of our signs because it was "too harsh." Now, we have to pick a leader and go with their direction, but we realized at that moment that the wrong people were leading us. People need to know the injustice, that Prop. 8 was about hate and about intolerance. Even if I didn’t necessarily seek out marriage for myself right now I, and everyone, should seek out equal rights.

Americans in general are too happy being complacent, and I think the gay community is no exception to that, in fact probably worse in a lot of cases. We can rally all we want now, but it’s gonna be a long time, two years maybe, before we get another ballot measure. I would like to get married someday. Definitely. We don’t have that word, "marriage," but others do. People who aren’t even religious get to use that word. And people are married off on television these days! Where are these people protesting the sacrament of marriage there? They’re not. Because it’s not about that. It’s not about marriage for them…it’s about us. These people, the Mormons, look at the way they treat homosexuals in their community.

You know, we’ve been here before and we’re gonna be here again. If we don’t continue to move forward, the other side will keep trying to force us back. We can't back down now.

Wow, I think my impression of Brent just went up 100x over. Then again, I always did have a lot of respect for him. I think I have to agree with everything he said from his view on porn to his view on marriage. I personally like it when the bottom has one intense orgasm while getting fucked, but I understand that its unrealistic to think every bottom will be hard in every scene. The ones that can pull that off though are very hot.
