(Note: A special update has been added to the end of this post.)
Hey! Are you tired of reading Twitter feeds and press releases about what may or may not have happened between Brent Corrigan and Michael Lucas over the long GayVN weekend in San Francisco?
I am.
I've opted out of offering any opinion on the whole thing (in case you somehow missed what happened, The Sword has a great timeline), because regurgitating and then commenting on someone's press releases over the Internet is about as exciting as a pot of cold oatmeal.
Instead, I decided to call Brent Corrigan directly and get to the bottom of things.
While he already wrote a thorough blog post on the matter, I had a couple of follow-up questions that went beyond the current brouhaha, and what follows is a recap of our conversation.
***
After congratulating him on his three GayVN wins, I got right down to it and asked Brent about a big rumor circulating the Internets.
I wanted to know if it was true that Michael Lucas had once wanted to cast Brent Corrigan in one of his movies. If so, it would completely undermine everything that Lucas had said and done over the weekend.
I wasn't sure how he would answer, or if he would answer at all, but he did. And as usual, he didn't disappoint...
Corrigan says that in 2006 he contacted Lucas (via Lucas’ MySpace account) to inquire about possibly working with him. Brent had just finished a film for Falcon and felt it was the right time to branch out and work with other leaders in the industry. An assistant wrote back, expressing the porn mogul's interest.
“There were a few short e-mails back and forth between myself and one of Michael Lucas’ assistants," Brent told me. "The assistant told me that Lucas didn’t write his own messages because he didn’t have a firm enough grasp of the English language, and that he had other people relay information for him. I thought this was pretty strange, you know, for one of his assistants to be telling me this, but negotiations continued.”
But Brent says when he told Lucas how much his scene rate was, things fell apart.
“I guess my scene rate was too high, and he wasn't willing to pay. When [Lucas] realized that I wasn’t just looking to do a random scene, and that he couldn't control me, everything was off."
Since this incident three years ago, Brent claims to have had no communication with Lucas, until the GayVNs last weekend of course.
When I asked Brent whether or not he thinks Lucas would’ve rushed the stage and done everything he did last weekend had Brent not won any of his awards, Brent asserted, “Absolutely not! He would’ve found some other way to cause a scene.”
"Any final thoughts on the matter, or Michael Lucas in particular?" I said.
Brent took a few seconds to collect his thoughts, and then matter-of-factly replied, “Well, he got the attention that he wanted, despite not getting the awards that he wanted.”

I'm done reporting on this, and I'm pretty sure Brent is done talking about it as well.
The End.
---UPDATE---
No! You didn't really think that was the end, did you?
Look, I said I was done, but half of the Unzipped staff (OK, OK, all of the Unzipped staff) told me that putting up Brent's quotes without any response from Michael Lucas made it look like I was not being objective, and then they accused me of believing Brent's story over Michael's. Well, they're right on both points.
So, in the interest of fairness (and more page views for everyone!), here's Lucas' latest press release, in which he admits to almost working with Brent in 2006 but claims to not have known about his history as an underage performer when negotiations were underway. I'll let you digest that on your own.
Meanwhile, a quick note and suggestion to Michael Lucas: Unzipped.net is a collection of voices and opinions, sometimes in agreement and sometimes not. The next time you see something I've written here that you don't like, why not just give me a call instead of leaving voice mails for everyone else in my office? I'm always willing to listen and I'm very easy to get a hold of. But please, no screaming. I like to save that for the bedroom.

I could barely pay attention to the dumb things Brent Corrigan was saying here, because I am a horny sexhound and there are hot hot hot pictures to the right of the post.
However, now that I have gotten down to the comments, too far down on the page to see naked manpics, (and having shot a load into a cum rag besides), I can say that Lucas has valid points and Corrigan's rebuttals are bull, bull, bull.
Like every star in the universe didn't have their own Facebook page which their assistants then answer! Duh Duh Duh! Welcome to the 21st Century.
I believe that Corrigan *might* really have gotten processed by Lucas's company. But to think that that processing de-legitimizes Lucas's points about this shameless slut that sold herself, whoops, I mean himself underage and in the process endangered consenting gay adults in their entertainment choices . . it's just bogus to think that.
Corrigan has convinced me of nothing; I would not even shoot my cumload on a picture image of his fucking face.

If Michael is so adamant about underage pornography, why isn't he working for ASACP now? The validity of Corrigans(or more likely one of his thugs he has attached to him)rebuttal is sophmoric at best. I doubt that boy/man Brent will live to see 30 with all the morons he associates himself with.
