Oh, that Michael Lucas. He's such a timely, topical pornographer. In his newest X-rated opus, Entrapment, the renegade auteur is ripping right from recent headlines. The film was inspired by a recent string of bookstore busts that occurred in New York City, and casts brand new Lucas Entertainment exclusive Dimitri Romanov as a man falsely arrested of prostitution and loitering by the NYPD.
It sure sounds hot, but why does the guy have to be falsely accused? Really! When are gay men going to rise up and claim their God-given right to have sex in public with random strangers? Not that we're encouraging anything illegal, mind you. Not us. Never. Nuh-uh. No way...
Anyway, Lucas tells Unzipped that the movie highlights an "important issue," namely the "homophobia that is rampant in all police departments in the United States. They always target gay men, never straight men. The arrests are always happening in gay neighborhoods and in gay adult stores. Aren't there bigger problems in New York than two consenting adults getting blow jobs? Maybe our brave police force should fight crime first [and worry about gay sex later—or not at all]."
As for what he thinks of backroom hookups in adult bookstores, Lucas is characteristically direct. "If someone is looking for an anonymous quickie [in a bookstore], then I really don't see a problem," he says. "It's not like it's public exposure."
Check out the trailer from the movie, and then for some hot pics of Romanov and his castmates from the film, head on over to Below the Belt. See you in the backrooms. Shhhhhhhh.
