GayVN Weekend Night 1: Stumbling through the Castro

I survived last night! Barely. Looking at Freshmen, College Dudes 24/7, and Jet Set model Adam Campbell (above) makes things a little better though. He was at a bar called The Mix, signing DVDs and magazines and showing off his impeccable body.

Last night's tailgate parties in San Francisco's Castro were full of booze, boys, and bad photographs taken by yours truly. But hey, at least the guys still look good, which is a testament to their hotness or something.

I started off at a "blogger party" (ha, nerds) at Lime, where there was an open bar. Yeah, you can see where this is going. There were some Bel Ami models there in the beginning, as well as representatives from Next Door Studios and The Sword, but where was Mason Wyler? He was scheduled to be there, but not until later.

You'll remember that a while back, Mason promised to go bowling with us, and I had suggested that we have a gang bang instead, so I was interested in meeting him last night to see if we could meet each other halfway. Don't ask me what the middle ground is between bowling and gang bangs, but something could have been worked out. Unfortunately, I was already on to the next bar before Mason got there, but I did stick around long enough to meet a cute guy with a stain on his tie, on whom I had a secret crush on for the rest of the night.

Hey! This narrative sure is boring. Let's just wrap this up with a couple more pictures and a rundown of who was where and what or who they were doing...

Here's Adam again at The Mix, along with friend and special Unzipped operative, Jewels, next to Trevor Knight and Marcus Steele. These guys were all incredibly fun and knew how to work the audience, Trevor particularly. (Showing your huge dick on stage is always a crowd pleaser, so thanks, Trevor!)

Later, Jewels and I headed down to The Lookout for the Hot House party, where you couldn't move and it took ten minutes just to get a drink—not that we needed any more drinks. The patio outside that overlooked the street was the place to be, where we ran into GayVN nominee Austin Grant (left), who's up for Best Actor for his work in Centaur's Young Guns, with smoldering fellow star, Dallas Reeves. These two were ridiculously sweet and friendly, and I should take this opportunity to apologize again for almost spilling my beer all over them.

Also at The Lookout were Erik Rhodes, Roman Heart, Aden & Jordan Jaric, and Benjamin Bradley, who all came over from the Falcon party at Qbar (more on that party here). I would've said hi to them, but it was at this point that I realized the beer I'd spilled had all landed in my crotch, making it look as if I had wet my pants. It was time to go back to the hotel.

Meanwhile, your other Unzipped editor, Ken Knox was taking more, better pictures, but those pictures are in a camera that was left in a cab somewhere in San Francisco. Not to worry though, that cab is bringing the camera back to our hotel this afternoon. 

So, that's all I got for now. An afternoon nap is needed, because tonight's show and afterparty at Wunderland will require a lot of stamina.
