Unzipped Media, publishers of the world’s top-selling erotic men’s magazines Men, Freshmen, and Unzipped as well as the highly trafficked website Unzipped.net, is extending an official invitation to Beau Breedlove, former intern of compromised Portland, Ore., Mayor Sam Adams, for a cover story and a full nude photo layout in the pages of one of the Unzipped Media properties.
“We would like to offer Mr. Breedlove this opportunity to share his side of the story in the pages of America’s premium gay adult online and print properties,” said Unzipped Media Editorial Director David Kalmansohn. “In sharp contrast to the mayor, our site’s visitors are being extremely vocal about their desire to both see and hear from Mr. Breedlove, the nation’s newest notorious intern.”
Breedlove, 21, became an overnight sensation after a January 20 report in Willamette Weekly revealed that Adams, Portland’s newly elected mayor and the city’s first openly gay chief official, covered up his relationship with the former administrative intern. The two first met in 2005 when Breedlove was just 17. They subsequently began a sexual relationship (reportedly after Breedlove turned 18). After denying the sexual relationship when presented with evidence, Adams eventually confessed the true nature of his relationship with Breedlove.
“I want to publicly acknowledge I made a mistake and apologize for it,” Adams told Willamette Weekly on Monday, January 20. “In the past, I’ve characterized my relationship with Beau Breedlove as purely nonsexual, and that is not true.”
Unzipped.net, Unzipped Media’s new “sexy news” blog, was the first to publish photos of the partially clothed youth on Tuesday night. Viewer reaction was immediately and overwhelmingly positive.
Breedlove, whose occupation is listed as “model” on Facebook.com, will be offered the cover of an Unzipped Media magazine and a nude photo session with Unzipped Media’s top photographers and stylists—the same erotic experts who created such memorable recent layouts as Men’s January 2009 “Man of the Year” cover (featuring Reese Rideout) and Unzipped’s March 2009 cover feature on former Israeli government worker turned porn stud Roman Ragazzi.
Over the past 25 years Unzipped Media, including the Men, Freshmen, and Unzipped titles, has built an iconic brand celebrating the male form. The company’s new blog, Unzipped.net, reflects Unzipped Media’s forward-looking strategy to bring the Unzipped brand to a wider, tech- and pop culture–savvy audience.

BTW, Beau was an intern for the state government, NOT the City. He worked 50 miles away from City Hall, and never for Sam. Get your facts straight if nothing else.

Shame on you guys for making up crap. As already pointed out the sleazebag you hired to strip for you was never an intern for Adams. More and more it appears he is nothing but a user who uses people to get what he wants. At first I thought Breedlove was a decent guy not anymore. As for Unzipped -- what utter crap to run this guy. He's not even that attractive.
